A motivated team of hut-keepers will receive you from mid-June through mid-September (weather permitting).

Count on approximately 3 hours of walking from the Montenvers station and follow the blue markers on the glacier.

Many excellent rock and alpine climbs are in the proximity.

In winter, the Requin is open as early as snow conditions permit. It is a wonderful stopping point for Vallée Blanche skiers in search of a hot drink or a hearty lunch to resore their spirits and take in the breath-taking view before continuing down the Mer de Glace towards Chamonix.
